Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Neurodevelopmental Service for Children and Young People in NHS Lanarkshire.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert psychiatric care to children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide interventions, including pharmacological treatment and group therapy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.
This is a part-time position (5 PA basis) based at the CAMHS and Neurodevelopmental Service clinic at Udston Hospital.
The successful candidate will join a team of Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists and work closely with medical staff from Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Paediatrics, as well as Psychology, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Health Professionals.
