Job Title: Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at Subsea Technology and Rentals Ltd. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing key customer accounts, providing technical sales support, and identifying opportunities to sell complementary products.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Manage key customer accounts and ensure customer requests are processed effectively.
  2. Interpret and respond to customer enquiries, identifying opportunities to sell complementary STR products.
  3. Proactively engage with key customers to ensure customer service expectations are exceeded.
  4. Recognise and progress opportunities to work with new customers.
  5. Generate rental and sales quotations.
  6. Manage the processing of customers' orders.
  7. Communicate clients' technical requirements to the workshop.
  8. Support the business CAPEX process.
  9. Contribute to business reporting and ensure CCRs are completed for areas of responsibility.
  10. Support industry tradeshows and business development activities.
Requirements:
  1. Proven track record in marine technology sales/rentals or relevant background in offshore survey and/or ROV operations.
  2. Qualified in marine science or an engineering discipline.
  3. Ability to drive and manage the sales process.
  4. Excellent communication, influence, and customer relationship skills.
  5. Knowledge of UK/EU Export Controls of dual-use equipment desirable.
  6. Ability to communicate throughout the organisation structure.
  7. Ambitious and self-motivated.
  8. Willing to travel.
