Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for coordinating and advancing engineering toolsets and models specific to aerodynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink-based toolsets within established governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Aerodynamic Discipline Teams and Projects to collate and harmonize requirements.
  • Supervise and guide team members in the development of toolsets, providing mentorship and technical direction.
  • Develop future initiatives that align with the Digital Engineering framework and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Support and encourage Aerodynamic Engineers in toolset development, promoting best practices and leveraging existing advancements.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in software development, including methods, practices, and version control systems.
  • Skilled in using the MATLAB/Simulink toolset for engineering applications.
  • Knowledgeable in Linux systems with additional experience in various software languages such as Python and Java.
  • Holds a degree in a STEM subject, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.
