AMR - Specialist Property Recruiters is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team in the South West region. This is a rare opportunity to work with a highly reputable firm covering Estate Agency, Lettings & Property Management, Agricultural & Professional Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage company finances and accounting, including rent accounts and reconciliation
- Prepare and submit end of year company accounts and tax filings
- Oversee payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Handle legal issues and insurance renewals and claims
- Implement and follow the company complaints procedure
- Manage cash income and banking, including office visits and staff queries
- Attend board meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience in finance and accounting
- Accountancy qualifications, such as ACCA or CIMA
- Dependable, confident, and meticulous in following and implementing systems and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
