Senior Electrical Control and Instrumentation Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in working on prominent chemical manufacturing plants in London, Warrington, and Falkirk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, specify, and implement electrical and instrumentation systems for chemical processing and plant facilities.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and control panel layouts.
- Lead commissioning, testing, and calibration of instrumentation and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems, instrumentation, and control loops to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with process engineers and maintenance teams to optimize plant performance and reliability.
- Participate in safety reviews, risk assessments, and HAZOP studies to ensure E&I systems meet functional safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in E&I engineering within the chemical, petrochemical, or similar process industries.
- Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and electrical distribution systems.
