As a Registered Nurse in ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an ICU hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
