About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team as a Graduate Engineering Manager. This entry-level manager role is designed to provide recently graduated students in a relevant Engineering discipline with the opportunity to build experience and grow to become future leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager in implementing, recording, and auditing safety and statutory compliance programs to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
  2. Implement and carry out network standards to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.
  3. Work with the team and the wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
  4. Learn the key aspects of all site-based RME roles.
  5. Manage projects or tasks as directed by the site manager.
  6. Be prepared to work on shift to maintain a solid connection to the team and daily work.
  7. Willingness to travel as required to other Amazon locations to support training and development.
  8. Work alongside Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technicians to understand day-to-day challenges faced.
  9. Lead small to medium-sized teams of multi-skilled Technicians.
Requirements
  1. Recently graduated or working towards an Engineering Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Industrial, Mechatronics, or Chemical disciplines.
  2. Maximum 2 years' work experience within a relevant industry.
  3. Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
  4. Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, Computer-aided Design).
  5. Knowledge of PLC-based control systems.
  6. Knowledge of Project Management frameworks.
