We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant/LSA/Behaviour Mentor, working within SEN/SEMH schools. This is an exciting opportunity to support students with specific needs, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students with specific SEN or SEMH needs in a classroom or 1:1 setting.
- Work within small, heavily supported classes with a student-to-TA ratio of 3:1.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing learning environment.
- Implement strategies to manage and improve student behaviour and engagement.
- Assist in developing personalised learning plans and interventions.
Requirements:
- Experience working in an educational setting is essential.
- SEN and/or SEMH experience is highly desirable.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service, or the willingness to obtain a new one.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
