Care Assistant - NIGHTS ONLY

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Wheldale Heights in Castleford. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care to residents, promoting independence and dignity
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support residents with medication management and administration
  • Engage residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and promoting resident well-being
