About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse with experience in delivering specialist dementia care to become an Admiral Nurse for Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Admiral Nurse, you will provide expert clinical knowledge and skills to enhance relationships, prevent crises, and support families affected by dementia with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist bio-psychosocial assessment and support for people with dementia and families with complex needs
  • Facilitate education and training for staff in the delivery of evidence-based dementia care
  • Support with service development and quality improvements in relation to dementia care
  • Consultancy to other health and social care professionals regarding dementia
About the Team

You will be part of the WEB Community Nursing team with peer support from Honiton, Ottery St Mary, and Sidmouth (HOSMS) Dementia & Frailty Team and work alongside health and social care services to case manage families affected by dementia with complex needs in the community and across care transitions.
