Accounts Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Administrator to join our team at Pertemps Redditch Commercial. As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our Accounts team with daily transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and CIS processing.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Accounts team with maintaining the company invoice system
- Input supplier invoices with accuracy and correct formatting
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Monitor and maintain the accounts email inbox
- Assist and process supplier payments
- Support with month-end accounts
- Process weekly invoices and resolve related queries
- Process CIS payments and update relevant systems
- Process and maintain the subcontractor ledger, ensuring payments are up-to-date and liaising with other departments
- Produce sales ledger invoices and chase for payments
- Produce weekly hire invoices
- Accounting qualification is desirable but not essential
- Proficient with MS Office software (Word/Excel)
- Previous experience within a purchase ledger/accounts administration
- Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices is advantageous
We are looking for someone who can multitask and demonstrate methodical attention to detail skills. You will also need to be confident and able to build long-term external relationships and communicate across all business levels.
