Job Summary:

We are seeking a recent Child Psychology graduate to join our team as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in a vibrant and highly regarded Primary school in Hayes. As a HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of children in our KS2 classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to children in KS2.
  • Run small support groups with pupils who need extra help, utilizing your knowledge of child psychology to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Assist with the assessment and monitoring of children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the development of individualized learning plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Child Psychology degree or related field.
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their educational development.
  • A desire to assist the learning of children with special educational needs.
