At TikTok, we're looking for a skilled Resource Planning Analyst to join our AI Data Service and Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing our resource planning cycle and process to ensure operational efficiency at a large scale.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement resource planning strategies to ensure the right resources are in the right place, at the right time, to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with operations delivery teams to govern planning parameters and review ad-hoc resource requests or out-of-norm scenarios.
  • Analyze data to review operations volume and performance trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes to enhance resource utilization.
  • Drive process improvement projects to regularly enhance the resource planning process and ensure its relevance across different groups of stakeholders.
  • Manage capacity delivery schedules and use data-driven analysis to model various deployment scenarios.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve capacity monitoring and reporting tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, or statistics.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, including data analysis, resource management, and strategic planning. Experience with large-scale operations planning is a plus.
  • Expertise in data analysis, with proficiency in Excel and SQL.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and full proficiency in English due to working with the Chinese market.
  • Proven record of stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong expertise in utilizing SQL and other data analysis tools.
  • Experience in labeling/data annotation.
  • Regional/global working experience.
  • Proven experience in a BPO/Social Media/Call center environment is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail, comfortably handling large sets of data while spotting granular details.
  • Comfortable working with global teams in different time zones.
