Healthcare Assistant Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at the Defence Medical Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our military personnel and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a professional and personal service to patients and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with military personnel and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of our medical centres and dental centres
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • National Vocational Qualification (NVQ/SVQ) Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in general practice or other healthcare environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and Safeguarding Children and Young People and Vulnerable Adults Level 2 training
  • Ability to provide certificates of training or proof of clinical competency
