We are in search of a meticulous and driven Financial Analyst to become a part of our vibrant finance team.

The successful candidate will assist in a variety of accounting and financial tasks, such as general ledger assessments, budget variance evaluations, and financial reporting.

This position is essential for ensuring precise financial documentation, supervising departmental spending, and enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our financial and business operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review general ledger accounts to clarify spending trends and discrepancies compared to budget and previous year figures.
  • Work alongside accountants to oversee and manage departmental spending.
  • Aid in the preparation and examination of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support the budgeting process for manufacturing.
  • Engage in the costing process and provide coverage for other manufacturing sites as necessary.
  • Participate in cost-saving initiatives, attend relevant meetings, and drive actionable results.
  • Assist in establishing standard costs and monitor performance.
  • Analyze scrap data and evaluate the success of scrap reduction initiatives.
  • Conduct production variance assessments and review bills of materials.
  • Assist with inventory counting processes.
  • Participate in both external and internal audits, supplying necessary documentation and support.
  • Aid in the preparation of VAT information.
  • Provide assistance across all finance areas as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Background in manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Early stages of CIMA qualification is desirable.

Skills:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable.
