Position Overview

Baltimore Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced SEN Assessment Officer to join our dedicated team focused on supporting children with special educational needs.

Contract Duration: Initial 3-month engagement

Work Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week

Compensation: £250 per day

Work Arrangement: Fully remote

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to review and modify Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans.
  • Utilize your expertise in the SEND Code of Practice to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and casework associated with statutory processes.
  • Analyze reports received during the EHC Needs Assessment (EHCNA) process.
  • Extract and synthesize critical information to create high-quality, person-centered EHC plans.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a local authority setting within the SEN sector.
  • Proficient in drafting and revising EHC plans.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and summarize complex information.
