**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Product Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product cyber security, particularly within an engineering field.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop a comprehensive security roadmap, including platforming, standardization, policies, and procedures.
- Lead a team of product security experts, including security advisors, security architects, security testers, and vulnerability managers.
- Collaborate with other leaders to set clear targets and goals, assign impactful tasks, and engage in regular development and career planning discussions.
- Ensure adherence to Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) standards, conduct security testing, and manage vulnerabilities throughout pre- and post-production phases.
- Develop direct reports and foster a culture of operational security, consistently following best practices and standards in product and industrial security.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's or Honours degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 8 years' experience in product development, engineering, or a similar field.
- Proven background in cybersecurity threats and defense, including technology procedures.
- Track record of data protection requirements.
- Experience in project management.
- Demonstrated commitment to operational security, adhering to best practices and standards in product and industrial security.
- Knowledge of open-source software.
- Hold generic security certifications like CISSP & CISM.
