Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Royalties Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and reconciling royalty data, as well as providing financial support to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of Y Royalties.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and reconcile royalty data from various sources, including recording and publishing labels, digital platforms, and other industry stakeholders.
- Provide financial support to clients, including data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client data and transactions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new financial systems and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
- Knowledge of the music industry and royalty data management is a plus.
