Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our Pharmacy Production Unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in the manufacturing of chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, parental nutrition, and radiopharmaceuticals, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice principles and utilizing aseptic technique.

Main Duties

• Participate in the manufacturing of chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, parental nutrition, and radiopharmaceuticals, working to Good Manufacturing Practice principles and utilizing aseptic technique.
• Work within cleanroom environments, upholding high levels of cleanroom behavior and comportment at all times.
• Participate in the manufacturing of extemporaneous products.
• Maintain the integrity of the cleanroom environment by working in accordance with strict cleaning regimes, as detailed in departmental SOPs.
• Contribute to environmental monitoring of controlled areas, ensuring a safe working environment is maintained.
• Participate in pre-process checking of various products, including chemotherapy and over-labelled medicines, following completion of associated training programs.
