About the Role

This position is responsible for providing financial, payroll, and HR support to the site, ensuring accurate and timely data flow between the site, the Finance Shared Service Centre, central HR, and Head Office.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the site management team and Finance Controller in producing a range of financial reports, including monthly stock control procedures.
  • Work with the Finance Controller to ensure timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and year-end results.
  • Ensure Group Policies and audit requirements are embedded at site level.
  • Manage local fixed asset administration, including bank guarantees and contracts.
  • Process intrastate and ECSL information for VAT reporting purposes.
  • Resolve AP errors and provide guidance on accurate transaction processing.
  • Provide monthly payroll data to the Finance Shared Service Centre for completion of monthly payroll, including details on overtime, SSP, SMP, and other adjustments.
  • Generate Purchase Orders and receive goods in line with standard processes.
  • Deal with suppliers over payments and general queries.
HR Responsibilities
  • Provide first-tier HR administration support, including payroll queries, maintaining employment contracts, and employee files.
  • Coordinate all HR administration and processes on site, liaising with the People Manager for guidance on Group policies and processes.
  • Support Line Managers with general advice on standard HR policies and processes, including attendance and performance management, discipline, and grievance.
  • Ensure leaver processes are followed, including processing leaver surveys.
  • Calculate holiday entitlement and maintain holiday records.
  • Record employee absence, ensuring all data is correct in terms of SSP.
  • Provide advice on employee benefits, including pension arrangements, maternity/paternity, and other company and statutory benefits.
