Job Title: Data Analyst Business Coach

Location: Remote - London or Manchester (4 days per year in office)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst Business Coach to support and develop apprentices through the Apprenticeship Standards. You will collaborate with employers to plan on-programme and end-point assessments, tracking apprentices' progress in knowledge, skills, and behaviours. This role involves one-to-one coaching, primarily delivered remotely, with occasional site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and support learners to achieve their full potential.
  • Plan and review apprenticeship projects with employers and apprentices to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Record and report activity on Aptem to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide constructive feedback to meet Ofsted and apprenticeship standards.
  • Conduct micro-teaching sessions to address knowledge gaps and enhance learning.
  • Prepare apprentices for end-point assessments to ensure they are well-prepared and confident.
  • Embed essential skills such as Maths, English, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Equal Opportunities into sessions.
  • Complete and distribute coaching reports and reviews to stakeholders.
  • Challenge and develop apprentices' skills and performance to meet the needs of employers.
  • Solve learning or development barriers for apprentices to ensure they remain on track.
  • Communicate with the Apprenticeship and Career Support teams about concerns and progress.
  • Develop new training initiatives and methodologies to enhance the learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting and coaching apprentices is highly desirable.
  • Highly motivated, persuasive, and patient individual with a mature personality.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
  • Good administrative skills, flexible, and adaptable to meet the needs of the role.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a data-related role.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is essential for success in this position.
  • Relevant qualifications in data are desirable but not essential.
