About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of energy through cutting-edge nuclear engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance of engineering deliverables with specified requirements, codes, standards, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients to attain their technical requirements.
  • Develop safe, legally compliant engineering solutions that satisfy project requirements.
  • Plan and execute engineering and design activities to deliver projects within approved budgets and scheduled completion dates.
  • Source innovative ideas and generate value-adding options to achieve the optimum engineered solution.
  • Develop technical specifications that define the totality of requirements for engineering solutions.
  • Assess equipment design elements and document justification arguments.
  • Produce detailed calculations to establish sizing, specification, or rating of components.
  • Ensure consistency in the use of software tools, deliverable protocols, formats, templates, numbering, and storage.
  • Organise and undertake design reviews.
