We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with diverse learning needs and behavioural challenges in our Alternative Provision / Pupil Referral Unit setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Providing individualized support to students with SEND, including those with complex needs
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery, including adapting materials to meet the needs of students with SEND
  • Monitoring and reporting on student progress, including tracking student behaviour and academic achievement

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of behaviour management and SEND principles
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and behavioural challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
