Key Responsibilities:- Support the teacher in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Work with individual children and small groups, providing differentiated support and encouragement to meet their specific needs.
- Utilize a range of specialist strategies and resources to support children with autism, such as visual aids, social stories, and sensory activities.
- Assist in developing children's communication, social, emotional, and behavioral skills.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- Help maintain accurate records and progress reports to inform ongoing planning and assessment.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly autism.
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and how to effectively support children with autism in the classroom.
- Ability to use a range of specialist strategies and resources to support children with autism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals.
- Highly organized with good record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate a positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.
