Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Food Warehouse Operative to join our team at M&J (Sysco GB) Seafood CPU Depot in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

As a Food Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for handling and preparing various food products, primarily fish, in a temperature-controlled environment.

You will work closely with our team to ensure the efficient preparation, packaging, and checking of chilled and frozen fresh seafood for distribution to caterers nationwide.

We are looking for someone who is computer savvy, confident in keeping records of stock for audit purposes, and has a great attention to detail.

Previous experience in a food production or kitchen environment and basic food safety knowledge would be an advantage, but your ability to learn and be part of the team is more important.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle and prepare various food products, primarily fish, in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Work closely with the team to ensure efficient preparation, packaging, and checking of chilled and frozen fresh seafood
  • Keep accurate records of stock for audit purposes
  • Ensure a high level of quality and safety in the preparation and handling of food products
