Join Our Team as a Management Accountant Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Management Accountant Trainee to join our dynamic team at Big Fish Little Fish. As a Management Accountant Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors, including creative, media, and other forward-thinking industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and submit year-end accounts and HMRC filings in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Provide ongoing management accounting services to clients, including financial analysis and reporting.
  3. Manage VAT calculations and submissions, as well as PAYE for employees and self-cert tax submissions for self-employed/directors.
  4. Offer tax planning and business finance assistance to clients.
  5. Perform book-keeping duties and maintain accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accountancy software, including Xero, QuickBooks, and Kashflow. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Excel is also essential. We are open to considering hybrid working arrangements, with a flexible schedule that includes 1-2 days of remote work per week.
