Children's Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Sessional Counsellor to join our team at Spurgeons. As a Children's Sessional Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic intervention and psychoeducation to children and young people in schools in Ramsgate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your caseload and conduct assessments
- Attend meetings and maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions and interventions
- Consult with pastoral teams in schools, parents/care givers, and statutory organisations
About You
We are looking for a qualified and experienced counsellor who is passionate about working with children and young people. You will have a strong understanding of child development and be able to work holistically to provide counselling services.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Counselling or a related field
- Experience of working with children and young people
- Membership of a relevant professional body
- DBS clearance or be part of the update service
