Exciting Opportunity for a Solutions Consultant

Enso Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a leading provider of ICT infrastructure solutions to recruit an experienced Solutions Consultant. This key role focuses on delivering strategic projects to public sector clients across the UK, leveraging cutting-edge Cisco technologies to ensure robust and secure network solutions.

As a Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive network solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices, while also ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to public sector stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior public sector stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable network architectures for critical public sector projects.
  • Provide expertise in Software Defined Networking solutions, including Cisco SDA and ACI, from concept to implementation.
  • Lead the planning and execution of network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, identifying and proposing tailored ICT infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to industry security regulations and standards, while implementing best practices for network optimisation.
  • Act as the Design Authority for solutions, overseeing the full lifecycle from initial design through to managed service delivery.
  • Maintain and develop vendor and partner relationships to stay ahead of emerging technologies.
  • Create detailed design documentation that adheres to the company's high standards.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in WAN Solutions (MPLS, Internet, L2VPNs) and Campus Network Design (LAN & Wi-Fi).
  • Strong experience in Cyber Security Solutions (Firewalls, SASE, ZTNA, Cloud Security).
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco ACI, Software Defined Networking (SD-WAN, SDA), and Data Centre Design.
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Scripting and API knowledge, including Python, YANG, RESTCONF, and NETCONF.
  • Solid grasp of IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and the latest network solutions.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain key vendor accreditations and industry certifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to work independently.
Desirable:
  • Established relationships within the Northern Ireland public sector.
  • CCIE certification.
