You will also be responsible for identifying strategic, long-term solutions that align with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams in analyzing business and technical requirements to ensure successful SAP implementations.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Initiate processes to gather business requirements, design systems, and provide insightful recommendations.
  • Prepare comprehensive design documentation and outline implementation strategies, detailing both short-term and long-term options.
  • Oversee project planning and scoping to guarantee successful execution, including budget management and resource allocation.
  • Ensure system configurations meet functional and technical specifications to fulfill client needs.
  • Supervise the development of testing protocols and conduct thorough system testing to validate project outcomes.
  • Identify and address issues arising from configurations and testing phases.
  • Create training materials and facilitate user training to promote client satisfaction and effective adoption.
  • Manage final system setups and transitions, resolving any outstanding issues.
  • Handle travel logistics, project tracking, and status reporting to maintain project alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with developers and management to assist in pre-sales activities and accurate project documentation.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior consultants and client personnel.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain certifications and industry knowledge.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP implementation, including at least 5 years in configuration, requirements gathering, and change management.
  • Possession of SAP certifications relevant to the functional area.
  • Experience with key technology platforms and integration points.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Information Technology or Business.
  • Experience in large-scale industries such as utilities, oil & gas, aerospace & defense, or transportation.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, ITAM/CAMP, CRISC, Six Sigma).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • In-depth understanding of SAP best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of business processes and methodologies.
  • Proficient in data migration tools and techniques.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and present ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Capability to evaluate existing systems and optimize solutions based on best practices.
  • Experience in project planning and execution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to complex issues.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
