Financial Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Hireful. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the onsite finance team and ensuring they are performing well and receiving the necessary training.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing a team in the FMCG sector and will be responsible for promoting sustainable margin improvements and leading cost reduction projects. You will also review capital proposals to ensure financial soundness and oversee accurate forecasting of capital project spending and benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily and weekly KPI reporting
  • Preparing monthly site management accounts and reporting variances against weekly figures, budgets, and prior years
  • Fostering a cost-awareness culture and ensuring strong overhead control across all functions
  • Reviewing and approving monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Regular forecasting and annual budgeting of site performance
  • Effectively managing and mitigating business risks

We are looking for an ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified financial professional with a strong track record of success in a similar role. If you are a motivated and experienced Financial Manager looking for a new challenge, please apply.

Salary: Up to £70,000 Per Annum + Car Allowance
