Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scenic Project Manager to join our team at Creative Personnel. As a key member of our projects department, you will be responsible for overseeing scenic projects from initial enquiry to completion, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate scenic projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical project managers and designers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide clear and detailed briefs to clients, advising on suitable solutions for their events.
  • Design and develop creative ideas and concepts for client events, including preparation of CAD drawings and specifications.
  • Manage budgets and quotations, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Update booking software with project progress and milestones, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Book and manage set and stage crew, ensuring timely and efficient deployment.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow our scenic department.
  • Assist other departments as needed, supporting the business to achieve its goals.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in the live events industry, with a specialism in set and stage.
  • Competent user of CAD software packages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Enthusiasm for developing creative designs and ideas to exceed client expectations.
  • Curiosity to learn, with a can-do attitude and resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Polished and professional manner, projecting confidence and enthusiasm to clients.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to work outside of regular hours as needed.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead by example and work as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused yet commercial mindset, with a keen eye for detail and high standards of presentation.
  • Full UK driving license and own transport.
