Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing selected project orders and interfacing with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management and Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  2. Client Interface: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide project updates, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  3. Design and Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients, including design and detailing, and ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of detail draughtsmen and administrative personnel to ensure the effective operation of projects.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with company procedures and quality assurance standards.
  6. Programme Management: Develop and manage project programmes, including records on the issue, receipt, and approval of all project drawings and details.

Requirements:

  • Education: HND or Mechanical Engineering Degree or Equivalent
  • Skills: Ability to read technical drawings, experience working within a similar industry, and experience within a similar role
