Your Role as a Housekeeping Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Antonine House. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents' personal items.
  • Restock and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health of our residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff to meet their needs and address any concerns.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
