Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate A&E General Nurse to join our team at Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust.
About the RoleAs an A&E General Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our inpatient units, providing rehabilitation to patients with varying complexities of need. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and coordinate care to a named group of patients
- Work proactively within the team to achieve unit and trust goals and objectives
- Work with and promote recognised policies, protocols, and guidelines

Requirements- Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register
- Experience of working with patients with multiple pathologies and developing and delivering care plans designed to meet their needs
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to maintain and improve standards of care
We have posts available from 23 hours per week, with a rotational shift pattern across seven days, including bank holidays. We offer flexible working arrangements and the right to request flexible working from your first day of employment.
Training and DevelopmentWe are committed to supporting the development of our staff, with opportunities for in-service training, annual appraisals, and regular clinical supervision. We also offer support and development in areas such as venepuncture, male and female catheterisation, PEG feeding, and ECG recording.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for a skilled and compassionate A&E General Nurse who is able to communicate effectively in written and verbal English, and is willing to undertake appropriate training. You will be able to make your own travel arrangements to meet the needs of the service, and will be able to identify with the Trust's commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults and children.
