As a vital member of the Supply Chain team at Lotus Bakeries, you will collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Manager to fulfill essential responsibilities that ensure operational efficiency.

  • Efficiently processing sales orders for both UK retailers and international markets, guaranteeing timely stock delivery.
  • Engaging in daily communication with retailers to promptly address any issues related to shortages, delays, or order inquiries.
  • Coordinating with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers on a daily basis to ensure the smooth collection and delivery of stock, while effectively resolving any arising challenges.
  • Cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with key stakeholders within the organization.
  • Preparing all necessary documentation for both domestic and international markets, while liaising with local authorities to validate shipping information.
  • Generating purchase orders and managing lead times with suppliers tailored for specific international markets.
  • Creating regular, straightforward reports (typically using PowerPoint) to illustrate operational performance.
  • Adopting a flexible approach to support various business areas and participating in ad hoc projects, such as Business Continuity Planning and general office assistance.

You will be an integral part of the Supply Chain team, which includes a Supply Chain Manager and a Demand Planner.
