About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Hourly Lifestyle Care Assistant to join our team at Ask Jules. Our client, a vibrant and outgoing individual with a spinal cord injury, requires support with personal care, independent living, and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with complex care needs, such as transferring, turning in bed, and medical care
  • Operate medical equipment, including tracheostomy and ventilator
  • Administer medication and use medical equipment
  • Drive the client's adapted automatic van
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, shopping, and cleaning
  • Provide social support and accompany the client to social events

Requirements:

  • Automatic UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Fluent in English
  • Respectful and confidential
  • Non-Smoker
  • Experience working with complex care needs (desirable)
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to provide on-call cover for absent colleagues
