Freightserve recruitment is seeking an experienced Import Key Account Manager to join our team. As a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Colnbrook, Berkshire area, we require a professional with a strong understanding of time-critical shipping and airfreight imports.
Key Responsibilities:- Customs Clearance of airfreight shipments using CDS (Sequoia operating system)
- Road Freight exports/imports customs entries, including T1 document preparation
- Coordinating with handling agents at LHR to obtain cargo release
- Arranging collections from LHR and deliveries to clients nationwide
- Quoting clients and providing administration support
- Strong understanding of quality customer service and attention to detail
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues
We offer a competitive salary and a 10% commission scheme based on annual sales targets. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional out-of-hours work from home. As a fast-growing Freight specialist in the UK, we have a reputation for excellence in the industry.
Requirements:- Experience in airfreight imports and customs clearance
- Strong understanding of time-critical shipping and logistics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
