We are seeking a skilled Compressed Air Service Technician to join our team at Verto People. As a Compressed Air Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities- Provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
- Undertake planned and preventative maintenance of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators, and other compressed air products.
- Diagnose and repair faults on various compressed air equipment.
- Install compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Compressor Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar.
- Ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
- Field servicing background in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps, motors, rotating equipment, capital equipment is advantageous.
- A technical mechanical/electrical/electronic/instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous.
- Competitive salary of £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience.
