About the Role
Nexgen Group is seeking a dedicated and reliable Deep Cleaner to join our team supporting one of our valued Social Housing clients in the Gosport area.
Your Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean various surfaces, including walls, skirting boards, handrails, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames using appropriate methods like dusting, damp wiping, or washing.
- Maintain floor cleanliness by sweeping with brushes or dust control mops, mopping with wet or damp mops, and vacuuming carpeted areas.
- Operate electrically powered cleaning equipment such as scrubbing/polishing machines, carpet cleaners, and jet washers for comprehensive cleaning tasks.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste materials to designated collection points, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Accurately mix cleaning solutions according to instructions, prioritizing safety and effectiveness.
- Replenish essential supplies such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Maintain the cleanliness of toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks, ensuring a hygienic environment.
- Clean communal kitchen areas thoroughly, paying attention to all surfaces and appliances.
What We Look For:
- One year or more of proven experience in cleaning roles (preferred).
- A valid UK driving license.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
