We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Sport and Leisure. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and training to our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning materials for a range of courses and levels.
- Support and guide students to achieve their full potential and reach their academic goals.
- Manage student learning and provide a high-quality learning experience.
- Contribute to the development of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
- Participate in marketing and promotion activities for the Programme Area.
About You:
- Hold a degree in Sport or a related subject.
- Have a Level 2 qualification in maths and English.
- Hold a Certificate in Education or equivalent.
- Have successful experience of providing training, assessing, and/or education to young people and/or adults.
- Be up to date with industry-standard vocational skills and committed to maintaining them.
- Have the ability to teach across a range of related vocational areas and learner levels.
- Have data analysis skills.
- Have recent experience of working in the relevant industries.
- Be able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Be able to make a positive contribution to the team, valuing and respecting others' expertise and contribution.
- Be able to communicate effectively and confidently face-to-face, on the telephone, and in writing.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and work effectively to deadlines.
