VickerStock is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of outward-bound products. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of products to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily activities of the logistics team, ensuring seamless execution of operations
- Implement process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Manage stock levels, inventory, and supply chain operations
- Collaborate with operations, suppliers, carriers, customers, and sales teams to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Lead, motivate, and support the logistics team by producing Performance Development Plans for direct reports
- Ensure strict Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in fast-paced logistics, despatch, or warehousing operations
- Proven experience in leading a team and implementing process improvements
- Sound understanding of Retailer and BRC Food Manufacturing requirements
