About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at The Entertainer in Gateshead Trinity Tesco Extra. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing toy department, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising and handling deliveries to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers
  • Replenishing stock, maintaining pricing, and implementing promotions to drive sales
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering toy-related questions, and making recommendations to customers
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 7pm
  • Ability to work independently, using initiative to complete tasks without supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Basic knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles
