As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing security processes that safeguard our customers and colleagues across the UK, Europe, and Asia.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with software and systems engineering teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
- Design and implement proactive monitoring and response strategies to security events.
- Work with experienced application security engineers to identify gaps in software engineering practices and recommend streamlined security solutions.
- Help select and implement application security tooling that fits within our software development practices.
- Deliver training on our core application security products to both security and engineering teams.
- Write and deliver easy-to-consume wiki content on our application security products.
- Promote security best practices across the business.
- Help build automation and monitoring to enforce security policies and detect threats.
- Develop safe-by-default guardrails for engineers to use.
- Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language: Python, JavaScript, Java.
- Experience supporting, administering, and building cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure).
- Proven experience operating and administering Linux distributions, including RHEL, Ubuntu, and CentOS.
- Understanding of common Application Security Tooling (SCA/SAST/DAST/IaC Security).
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, Mitre Top 25, and CVSS frameworks, mapping to business risk.
