About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at a bespoke manufacturer in Nuneaton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and overseeing the maintenance and facilities management of our site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 4 engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our maintenance activities
  • Oversee the prioritization of maintenance tasks, using our CMMS system to ensure timely completion of PPM and breakdowns
  • Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Monitor and manage absence, training, and recruitment needs for the team
  • Take ownership of facilities responsibilities, including legionella management, air quality monitoring, and reporting
  • Collaborate with the project management team on new initiatives and projects
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including LOLER, risk assessments, and contractor management
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a maintenance management role, with a strong track record of leading teams and driving improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with a good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • A strong attitude to work, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
