We seek a skilled and proactive Night Hygiene Manager to oversee our hygiene operations during the night shift. This role involves managing a dedicated team, ensuring that our facility adheres to rigorous cleanliness and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of hygiene practices, particularly within a food production context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Direct and support a small team of hygiene operatives, ensuring all tasks are executed to the highest standards.
  • Hygiene Oversight: Supervise the cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and facilities during night shifts, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Chemical Oversight: Manage the ordering and utilization of hygiene chemicals, ensuring proper storage and inventory control.
  • Documentation: Keep precise and comprehensive records of hygiene-related observations, checks, measurements, and results.
  • Sampling Initiatives: Develop and oversee sampling programs for laboratory analyses to monitor hygiene standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing hygiene practices and collaborate with the team to implement effective solutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all hygiene activities align with company policies and relevant industry standards, including BRC, HACCP, and food safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a hygiene management or supervisory role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong grasp of hygiene standards, chemical management, and food safety regulations.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Diligent in maintaining hygiene records and ensuring compliance with all standards.
