ROLE SUMMARY - Manufacturing Engineer

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Manufacturing Engineering expert with a solid foundation in Electrical and Electronic Engineering to become part of a dynamic and expanding organization focused on the creation of intricate systems.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will serve as a solutions expert or troubleshooter who excels in a fast-paced work environment, where technology is in a state of constant advancement.

A background in high-reliability electronics or Printed Circuit Board (PCB) production is essential, along with confidence in managing small batch complex product manufacturing and collaborating with external subcontractors as well as internal production teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Manufacturing Engineer

  • Act as the liaison between internal teams and external manufacturers.
  • Develop and refine processes and protocols, including Testing Procedures and General Assemblies.
  • Utilize both standard and specialized testing equipment for product evaluation.
  • Build, lead, and oversee a small team of Technicians.
  • Provide technical assistance when challenges arise before, during, and after the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure a smooth transition of product designs into production.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new external manufacturers.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance quality and minimize production costs.
  • Ensure the reliability of supply parts from approved vendors.
  • Serve as the primary contact for suppliers to address production or manufacturing concerns.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding quality issues, inquiries, and non-conformance reports for established products.
  • Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI).

QUALIFICATIONS - Manufacturing Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Familiarity with PCB production.
  • Experience with Electronic and Electromechanical assemblies.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Background in low volume, high value production.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
