Aerospace Assembly Technician

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at Siemens Mobility in Goole. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe assembly of Gearbox systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with mechanical overhauls of traction Gearboxes, including disassembly and assembly.
- Conduct mechanical inspections of Rail Gearbox parts to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Investigate and analyze failures and root causes of defects, identifying manufacturing or material issues.
- Perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure Gearbox systems meet customer requirements.
- Execute quality checks to industry standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Disassemble and reassemble products in line with works order instructions, meeting customer expectations.
- Improve productivity and efficiency in disassembly and reassembly processes, achieving required standards for production.
- Take responsibility for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) in the production area, ensuring control measures are in place and actively supporting a zero-harm culture.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, including workshops and discussion groups, to enhance quality, cost, and delivery performance.
