About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with social and emotional needs related to Autism, ADHD, or Trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children to achieve their full potential and enjoy a fulfilling life, whether through activities, outings, or daily routines.
- Ensure the children's safety and well-being by monitoring their development and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, their families, and other professionals.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive team environment.
Requirements:
- Patience, empathy, and resilience to work with children who may have experienced trauma.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
- A driving license to transport children to activities and appointments.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins, and be available for on-call duties.
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills in residential childcare.
