About the Role

Cox Automotive is seeking a skilled Vehicle Inspector to join our team in ensuring the highest quality of vehicles meets our customer's expectations. As a key member of our Vehicle Services department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Management: Manage daily arrivals through the inspection process, providing accurate and detailed estimates for damage that falls outside of standard contractual requirements.
  • Contractual Compliance: Understand and apply the relevant standards for each contract, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Damage Assessment: Provide customers with accurate estimates for recorded damage, utilizing your exceptional eye for detail and knowledge of repair methods.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with team members to create a professional and enjoyable experience for customers.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in supporting peak periods of arrivals and staying up-to-date with evolving technology.
Requirements
  • Regulatory Experience: Proven experience working within rigid regulations and procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail and strong understanding of repair methods.
  • Knowledge of Vehicle Components: Comprehensive understanding of all vehicle components, including cars and commercial vehicles.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Adaptability and Initiative: Ability to adapt to changing technology and use your initiative to react to change quickly and effectively.
  • Teamwork and Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
