Job Title: Deputy Chief Nurse

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Deputy Chief Nurse, playing a pivotal role in providing professional and operational leadership to our nursing teams.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development of a first-class nursing service with a can-do attitude, focused on delivering high-quality, safe patient experiences.
  • Work closely with the Chief Nurse and Portfolio leadership teams to drive forward the MUSC Portfolio's ambition to keep citizens safe and improve their wellbeing.
  • Develop a strong people-focused culture that encourages and nurtures talent, ensuring the highest standards of practice are maintained.
  • Collaborate with Pathway Managers, Clinical Directors, and service teams to ensure safe, effective, person-centered care is delivered to the highest standards.

About You:

  • You will be an accomplished and credible leader with energy and passion, naturally engaging and able to inspire and motivate staff.
  • You must hold an NMC registration and have a demonstrable track record of success in your previous roles.
  • You will require education to MSc level or equivalent, with substantial post-registration experience in a clinical/managerial setting and evidence of change management.
